As a Retail Sales Representative for our Larson brand, you will enjoy maximizing revenue and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout retail locations in an established territory, focusing on our relationship with Lowe’s retail locations. Key responsibilities include training, coaching, and driving sales revenue across Millwork, In-Home, and Pro sales departments. The Retail Sales Representative will manage account relationships and provide support for the full Fiberon/Therma-Tru/Fypon product line. The ideal candidate will be initiative-taking with enhanced multi-tasking abilities, and strong communication, organizational and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in outside sales within the millwork or building materials space, be extremely autonomous, and able to travel overnight approximately 3-4 nights a month . You will have a background of growing and maintaining relationships through high-touch communications and knowledge sharing.   • Grow top-line sales across assigned territory and multiple product lines.
  • Develop strategic account plans focused on identifying and driving growth opportunities.
  • Design and deliver sales training programs highlighting brand differentiators and premium growth strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with store associates and management to ensure territory ownership and alignment.
  • Oversee setup of new and remerchandised stores, ensuring displays, signage, and pricing are accurate and on schedule.
  • Drive Pro Business by partnering with Retail Pro Associates and distributor sales teams to implement sales programs, build brand awareness, and participate in retail Pro-Events.
  • Support Retail In-Home Sales Consultants to grow R&R revenue.
  • Manage travel and expense budgets while achieving territory sales goals.
  • Foster positive relationships with distributor partners to support team objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop sales messaging, recommend new products, and implement POP changes.
  • Partner with Customer Service to resolve claim inspections and recommend corrective actions.
  • Recommend adjustments to in-aisle stock assortments to maximize sales.
  • Ensure merchandising standards are consistently met during store visits.
  • Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred (Associate’s accepted depending on role scope).
  • Proven sales experience with strong understanding of the sales cycle.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting client and customer relationships.
  • Travel 25–40% overnight plus regular daily local travel.
  • Background in millwork, decking, or building materials is a plus.
  • Familiarity with quality processes preferred.
