About The Position

HomeTown Pharmacy is seeking a driven, personable, and highly organized Retail Sales Manager. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Administrative Operations, the ideal candidate is proficient in planning, organizing, administrating, developing, implementing, coordinating and directing. The Retail Sales Manager acts as a role model of professionalism, ethical behavior, and effective decision making at all times. This position is directly responsible for assisting with the overall administration, direction and development of the front-end sales of the retail pharmacies. Work Location: Based out of New Era, Michigan

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of five years related experience and/or training.
Strong communication skills
Strong computer skills
Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to travel and flexible schedule
Management Experience

Responsibilities

Supervision and delegation of duties of Retail Sales Assistant, warehouse/ distribution employees, Epicor trainer and Point of Sale Coordinator
Assist with annual review, hiring, disciplinary, onboarding and training
Oversee and monitor Point of Sale data and processes
Assist Director of Retail Operations, Regional Manager and Senior Management with the transition of a new pharmacy
Create yearly sales goals for stores
Assist with Pharmacy moves or remodels
Monthly store visits
Monitor all Non-Rx Category maintenance and sales
Maintain Front End Policy and Procedure Manual
Monitor vendor file updates
Assist with updating departments (sizes, locations, product selection) based on past and present sales
Monitor sales on a monthly basis
Attend shows
Monitor inventory levels
Direct oversight and delegation of monthly delivery schedule
Direct oversight and delegation of warehouse personnel and operations
Accountability, efficiency and accuracy
Oversee maintenance of Fleet of Company Vehicles
