About The Position

The Retail Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the outside sales team by managing day-to-day activities related to the sale of machines, attachments, and service agreements. This position involves developing customer-facing proposals, preparing necessary documentation, and assisting in inventory management to enhance sales operations and customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Three years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience required; five or more years preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Compact Construction Equipment and basic knowledge of Earth Moving and Excavation Equipment.
  • Knowledge of the construction equipment sales industry and business accounting principles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office Excel and PowerPoint; intermediate skills in MS Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sales operations or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with financial structures related to equipment sales.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the outside sales team on daily activities related to machine sales and service agreements.
  • Develop customer-facing proposals for new and used machines and service agreements.
  • Prepare necessary documents to support the sales process from quote through invoicing.
  • Assist in inventory management and improve profitability and accuracy in merchandising support.
  • Coordinate the financial structure of machine sales, including credit release requests.
  • Foster cross-departmental relationships to support customer service initiatives.
  • Provide input for process improvements in communication and technology.
  • Ensure regular and punctual attendance and adherence to safety policies.
