This role involves exceeding monthly sales quotas and delivering high-quality sales that meet company benchmarks. The consultant will drive sales of preferred handsets, rate plans, features, and accessories, following company guidance. They are expected to practice specific behaviors and best practices to maximize sales and key metrics, and act as a role model for new hires and peer Retail Sales Consultants. The position also includes performing other work-related tasks as assigned by management. Operationally, the consultant must adhere to all company policies and paperwork procedures, master required systems like Aktivate, ADP, Cricket Learning, RQ4, and Paycom, and regularly check sales paperwork for discrepancies. Responsibilities include following cash depositing procedures, protecting company assets, using proper judgment to prevent fraudulent purchases, and accurately completing opening/closing checklists. Immediate communication of inventory deficiencies to supervisors and safeguarding all codes and passwords are also required. Maintaining store appearance and completing all required training within established timelines are essential. Other duties include consistently and accurately recording time and attendance, adhering to schedules, providing adequate notice for time off, and taking personal responsibility for problems within their control.
