This role is for a Retail Sales Consultant at AT&T, focusing on creating meaningful connections with every customer through personalized sales expertise. The consultant will be at the center of daily operations, aiming to meet sales targets and earn commission by leveraging AT&T’s full suite of products, including the latest devices and personalized services. The position involves a consultative sales approach on the sales floor, guiding customers through their options, participating in community events, fulfilling online orders, and making outbound calls to existing and potential customers. It requires working a schedule between 9am-9pm, including weekends, with monthly seniority-based schedules available two weeks in advance. The environment is fast-paced, requiring flexibility and openness to change to stay current with evolving technology and customer needs. While prior retail or customer-facing sales experience is a plus, AT&T provides the necessary tools, training, and coaching for individuals without sales experience to meet and exceed their goals.
