This position is for a Retail Sales Consultant responsible for sales and operations within a retail environment. Key responsibilities include exceeding monthly sales quotas, delivering high-quality sales, and driving the sale of preferred handsets, rate plans, features, and accessories according to company guidance. The consultant is expected to practice specific behaviors and best practices to maximize sales and key metrics, act as a role model for new hires, and perform other assigned work-related tasks. Operationally, the role requires adherence to all company policies and paperwork procedures as outlined in the Handbook, Training Courses, and Sun Com policy documents. The consultant must master required systems such as Aktivate, ADP, Cricket Learning, RQ4, and Paycom, and regularly check sales paperwork for discrepancies. Other operational duties include following cash depositing procedures, protecting company assets, using proper judgment to prevent fraudulent purchases, accurately completing opening/closing checklists, immediately communicating inventory deficiencies, safeguarding codes and passwords, and maintaining store appearance. Additionally, the role involves completing all required training within established timelines, consistently and accurately recording time and attendance, adhering to schedules, providing adequate notice for time off, and taking personal responsibility for problems within one's control.
