About the position

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Pink Fleur Hair Spa in Macon, GA. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. Your responsibilities will include selling products, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable items.
• Maintain the sales floor by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Perform basic math calculations to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone.
• Support supervisory staff in training new employees and maintaining store policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong selling skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management and sales analysis.
• Experience operating cash registers and POS systems is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and stock management.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience in a grocery store setting is a plus but not required.
