About The Position
As a Retail Sales Associate at JoS.A.Bank, you will be an integral part of our team, dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with customers across various business segments, including retail, rental, custom, and omni-channel services. Your primary focus will be to build relationships with customers from the moment they enter the store until after their purchase. You will consistently demonstrate benchmark selling techniques, particularly in retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals. Teamwork is essential, and you will be encouraged to participate in team selling to positively impact the store's sales volume and metrics goals. Additionally, you will assist with visual merchandising, store setup, and other related projects, including conducting merchandise stock counts. Handling the cash register and processing transactions at the point of sale will also be part of your responsibilities. This position requires physical stamina, as you will need to stand and walk for most of your shift, frequently bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs. You may also need to climb ladders to reach merchandise and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors. JoS.A.Bank is a union store with an established hourly pay rate of $11.75, complemented by a generous commission structure.
