Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a positive guest experience that exceeds expectations through effective and efficient retail operations. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service, ensuring a positive final impression of the shopping experience. You’ll maintain organized workspaces and assist team members to keep store operations running smoothly.

Nice To Haves

Basic business administration and general knowledge of principles and practices of a retail environment preferred.
Experience in retail, customer service or sales environment preferred.
Knowledge of micros systems, computers, and other office equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and ascertain their wants/needs.
Open and close Micros system.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges and security practices.
Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires, providing up-selling opportunities when appropriate.
Answer questions regarding the store, resort, and merchandise.
