Forge & Build is hiring a Retail Sales Associate at our rental facility in Arab, AL , and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. (On call during the weekend only in special circumstances) Forge & Build is a place contractors and customers can access all the materials and hardware they need to get the job done, as well as tech-powered equipment rentals. They remember walking into a hardware store hoping to find everything in one place, but many times having to head to another store. Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs) and climbing required
Inherent desire to learn and develop on an individual basis
Strive for continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

Former retail or trade (ex: building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) experience preferred

Responsibilities

Associate will assist in the receiving, stocking, cleaning, merchandising and overall store cleanliness
Maintain a friendly helpful attitude
Assist customers in solving their problems
Maintain a positive, professional and safe environment at all times
Assist in keeping the sales floor clean and orderly, including signage and bintags
Maintain strong product knowledge
Provide outstanding customer service
