As a Retail Selling Colleague, you are expected to blend effective selling with genuine hospitality to create exceptional shopping experiences. This involves understanding customer needs, offering personalized recommendations, and connecting them with suitable products and services. Whether on the sales floor or in the fitting room, your warmth, product knowledge, and personal approach are key to turning everyday visits into memorable moments. The role requires a focus on achieving selling goals through customer engagement and smart selling behaviors, building trust, meeting sales targets, and inspiring loyalty. This position is more than just being a cashier; it places the customer at the heart of all daily activities. The ideal candidate is passionate about selling, goal-oriented, a team player, and committed to creating amazing experiences through hospitality. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting shopping space to ensure every customer feels welcome.

Requirements

  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
  • Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
  • Meeting daily sales goal challenges.
  • Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
  • Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities.
  • Can work on your own but are great with team dynamics.
  • Can handle electronic devices with no problem.

Responsibilities

  • Begin each day energized and ready to make an impact.
  • Wear a name badge with pride, greet teammates with a warm hello, and help ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
  • Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up to date on current trends and promotions.
  • Focus on the customer by offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and creating friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
  • Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, and supporting any needed merchandise moves.
  • Finish Strong by sharing Loyalty program benefits, ensuring customers have all they need, and ending with a sincere thank-you, often walking the package around and using the customer’s name.
  • Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration.
  • Strive to improve every day, take pride in work, achieve sales goals and learn from each other to deliver individual and store results.
