Our dedication to quality, unique manufacturing processes, and loyal customer base have allowed us to continue weaving our story into American history. We are seeking full-time and part-time Retail Sales Associates to join our team at the Faribault, MN retail location. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and is passionate about representing a historic American brand.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Retail or sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills with both customers and internal team members
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Experience handling a variety of customer service situations
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Basic proficiency with internet applications and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Retail or sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding in-store customer service by engaging with customers and offering thoughtful product recommendations
  • Educate customers on Faribault Mill products, materials, and the history of the Mill
  • Accurately process sales transactions, including cash, check, and credit card payments
  • Support store sales goals and contribute to a positive, welcoming shopping environment
  • Maintain store presentation by restocking merchandise, merchandising displays, and keeping the sales floor organized
  • Perform opening and closing duties in accordance with store procedures
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and website support as needed
  • Assist with visual merchandising to support an effective and engaging shopping experience
  • Participate in local community engagement efforts and events as appropriate
