About The Position

Requirements

  • Selling & Service Experience: 1+ year of experience in retail sales or customer-facing roles.
  • Open Availability: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using mobile devices, store apps, inventory tools, and POS systems.
  • Core Competencies: Strong sales instincts combined with great communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Time Management & Multitasking: Ability to juggle multiple customers or tasks at once while staying focused and accurate.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in interior design or specialty sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and Connect with Customers: Build meaningful relationships by asking thoughtful questions to understand each customer's needs and style preferences.
  • Demonstrate Reliability: Show up ready to work, on time, every shift. Communicate proactively about any unexpected absences or challenges.
  • Always Be Selling (ABS): Approach every customer as a new sales opportunity. Educate them on purchase options through POS systems, the Wayfair app, quotes, or online tools.
  • Provide Product Expertise: Share tailored recommendations using your knowledge of Wayfair's in-store and endless aisle offerings.
  • Support Operational Excellence: Help with carry-outs, curbside pickups, cancellations, cart retrieval, and product returns while keeping the store clean and organized.
  • Adapt to a Fast-Paced Environment: Stay agile and energized amid frequent product, promotion, and operational changes.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Contribute to store success through replenishment, backfills, floor sets, and sharing fresh ideas.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide personalized support and proactive solutions that make Wayfair a go-to shopping destination.
