As a Retail Sales Associate for Signature Solar, you will promote and sell our solar products to residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, providing product information, and guiding them through sales. This role requires a customer-focused approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting energy solutions. Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems and their benefits.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • The ability to work flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate customer schedules and events.
  • Experience in retail sales.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Certification in solar energy or related fields is advantageous.
  • Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Educate customers on Signature Solar products and services.
  • Assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in solar technology and industry trends.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of our solar products and services.
  • Effectively communicate technical information clearly and understandably.
  • Consult with customers to understand their energy requirements and recommend appropriate solar solutions.
  • Present and explain pricing, financing options, and incentives.
  • Close sales and achieve weekly/monthly targets.
  • Actively engage in lead generation activities, including events, promotions, and networking.
  • Follow up on leads generated through various channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process.
  • Provide post-sale support and address customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Seek opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Complete sales-related paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, lead status, and achievements.
  • All other duties assigned.
