As a Sales Associate, you will be the welcoming face of Tandy Leather, responsible for greeting and assisting customers both in-store and over the phone. Your role is crucial in maintaining the store's overall presentation and providing exceptional customer service. We seek individuals who are fun, friendly, outgoing, and hard-working, with a passion for retail, crafting and a desire to help others learn the timeless art of leathercrafting. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent customer service in an engaging and professional manner.
Assist customers in selecting products, answering questions, sharing product knowledge, and recommending Tandy products.
Use active listening to understand customer needs, make helpful suggestions, and strive to close sales.
Inform customers when orders are ready for pickup or provide status updates, ensuring they receive their receipts and items.
Accurately process purchases and returns using the POS system and internal computer systems.
Help with receiving and stocking merchandise and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Follow opening/closing procedures, prepare displays/signage, and ensure a clean, organized retail space.
Create or update customer profile records.
Alert management to potential security issues.
Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.
Learn product attributes, differentiate between products/features, and demonstrate product functions and purposes to customers.
Show willingness to learn and teach classes to customers, enhancing their knowledge and skills.
