About The Position

Retail Sales Associate We are a company of craftsmen skilled in the art of footwear. Rooted in the Pacific Northwest, we strive each day to uphold ourselves to the highest standards. We're looking for a brand ambassador to contribute to a team of inspired, motivated individuals focused on providing legendary customer service. Our Retail Sales Associates work to achieve personal and team-oriented sales goals. The store environment is fast-paced and high energy, and you'll get to move with it. In a single day you will interact with customers, work the register, build a display or stock the shelves. Danner's 90-plus year commitment to building quality footwear products is well-known in the footwear industry. Since 1932 we have offered footwear for sporting, uniform, outdoors, and occupations such as farming, general utility, and construction. We are looking for brand advocates whose passion will inspire both old and new generations of Danner brand loyalists. As a Danner Sales Associate, you will help your team deliver the most personal, memorable, and knowledgeable service possible to our customers. • 1+ years retail sales experience in a strong customer service environment preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with POS
• Basic MS Excel & Outlook experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience fitting footwear a plus
• Brand knowledge of Danner a plus

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner.
• Provides honest and confident feedback to customers regarding merchandise style and fit.
• Consistently seeks new product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer.
• Sets and achieves personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team.
• Works as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible.
• Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Danner culture in all actions and words.
• Ensures that stock is replenished and displays are neat and rotated to encourage sales.
• Assists with backroom projects and assignments as requested.
• Track and achieving expected KPI metrics at individual and store level.
• Ensures all workspaces are clean and tidy.
• Perform opening and closing duties as requested.
• Performs other duties, as assigned by Manager.
