About The Position

Successful candidates with retail and general aviation experience will be asked to offer our customers a wide range of aviation products. Responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service for in-store customers, receiving returns, and stocking store items.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Intuitive and teachable in product knowledge as well as fulfillment of orders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy while working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and/or move bulky merchandise up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

Nice To Haves

  • General Aviation Experience/Knowledge is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers by greeting them and offering sales assistance.
  • Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items based on the customer’s needs.
  • Help customers make selections by building customer confidence: offering suggestions and opinions.
  • Document sale by creating or updating customer order records and processing payments.
  • Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally.
  • Provide excellent service and ensure customer satisfaction by exceeding expectations.
  • Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and technical questions regarding products.

  • Cross trained to assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
  • Keep clientele informed by notifying them about future merchandise of potential interest.
  • Continually build product knowledge and stay informed on industry changes to better assist customers.
  • Assist in updating listings to better and more accurately describe products.
