About The Position

Retail Sales Associate Assists customers by helping them select products. Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge. Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner. Responds to customers' questions.

Requirements

High school diploma
at least one (1) year retail experience including cashiering
Must have or be able to obtain Casino Employee Registration (CER) license upon hire
Good verbal and written communications skills required
Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand extended periods of times.

Nice To Haves

Excellent customer service skills preferred

Responsibilities

Drives sales through engagement of customers,
Greets and receives customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
Working with fellow co-workers and management to keep retail space clean and always organized.
Maintain product on sales floor and filling backstock throughout assigned shift.
Responsible for a point-of-sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps or in payment of retail items.
Verifying identity of customers when using comps as a form of payment for retail items.
Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
