About The Position

United Beauty Supply is a well-established family-owned beauty supply retail organization specializing in hair, wigs and beauty products for over 20 years. Our organization is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, we strive to create a positive and engaging shopping experience not just a purchase! United Beauty Supply is looking for a part - time Retail Associate, hours per week (average of 20 -25/week). We are looking for shifts of 11:00am start time/4:00pm! This includes some weekend shifts! Our sales position requires exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with our amazing team!

Requirements

  • Must be 18 year's of age or older, required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal communication skills with our customer base, co-workers and leadership
  • A true team player attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Proficiency in using cash registers and handling cash transactions
  • Flexible work availability, including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year of retail sales experience is a huge plus
  • Demonstrated skillset to provide a premier experience for our clients

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Build solid rapport with our customers creating a premier shopping experience
  • Engage and educate our customers with a consulting approach
  • Assist customers in finding the products they are looking for and making recommendations to meet our client's needs
  • Operate the cash register and handle cash and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store- Stock and replenish merchandise as inventory is sold
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues- Work collaboratively with the store team
  • Maintain the store appearance it is a reflection of who we are
