About The Position
Work World is seeking a Part-time Retail Sales Associate for their Norwalk, CA location, with compensation ranging from $15.50-$16.00 (DOE). Work World, established in 1990, is the largest specialty retailer of workwear and work boots in the Western U.S., operating over 30 stores across California, Nevada, and Washington under the Work World, Shoeteria, and Whistle Workwear brands. They offer a wide range of products including boots, apparel, scrubs, and safety gear from top vendors. Requirements
- High School diploma or general degree (GED) - required
- Willing to work nights and weekends
- Excellent verbal communication
- Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
- Basic math skills
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated sales skills and experience
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of retail customer service experience preferred
- Bi-Lingual a plus
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
- Assist customers with request in store and over the phone
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner
- Always maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Complete customers transactions at the cash register including taking payments, and issuing receipts
- Tag prices and merchandise
- Contribute to team’s daily sales goal
