About The Position

We are currently seeking an outgoing and friendly experienced part-time retail sales candidate to join our talented team! This position may offer full time at a later date. Please read the requirements before applying The primary responsibility of a Woof Gang Bakery SA is to ensure a friendly environment in the store and to provide knowledge of all products to assist customers with their purchases. The (SA) ensures the customers are well assisted from the time they walk in the door until they leave. The SA will check out customers and package assist in packing the merchandise and take the attention of sales personnel for the procedure of payment. He or she must also be aware and updated on promotions and advertisements. He or she must also possess exceptional communication skills with the customers to build a good customer-store relationship. He/She will also help with walk-in nail trims, bathing, and assisting with grooming as needed.

Requirements

Must be over 18 years old with a High >School Diploma or equivalent.
Exceptional Customer Service Skills
Basic PC navigation skills
Proficiency in English
Friendly and outgoing interpersonal skills
Reliable & punctual
Must have the ability to multi-task
This position requires weekends
Must have open availability for mid-day shifts ranging from 9am-7pm during weekdays and weekends and Sundays.
Physical requirements
Lift and move animals and/or merchandise up to 50 pounds
Standing for long periods of times
Bending, stooping kneeling - Must have the stamina and ability to assist with stocking shelves, moving products, and bathing large dogs.
Animal Handling – Must be able to physically handle large animals when necessary.

Nice To Haves

Previous sales experience, pet nutrition, or animal care is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
Assess customers’ needs and provide assistance with products & services.
“Go the extra mile” to drive sales
Maintain presentable condition and sanitation of the store
Greet each customer and their pet, and build productive relationships with customers.
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
Cross-sell products and services by recommending merchandise and services based on individual pet requirements.
Demonstrate how merchandise works and explain advantages to the customer.
Educating Pet Parents regarding animal
Team up with groomers and co-workers to ensure we excel in customer service
Process credit card, check, and cash payments.
Answer telephones & Schedule Grooming appointments
Address customer concerns or complaints
Interact professionally and effectively with all customers and employees.
Assist with promotions and mailings
Assist with event planning and coordination
Ensure customer, employee, and pet safety are always a priority and always maintained
Perform walk-in nail trims, bathe and assist in grooming as needed.
Perform other daily tasks as required by supervisor or management.
