The Wellness Advisor of Sunnyside is responsible for advising customers (recreational, medicinal, and caregivers) in selecting proper cannabis products and acting as an ambassador of the company’s mission. This role involves using customer service, product knowledge, and adherence to state compliance regulations to ensure a best-in-class experience, covering the customer lifecycle from check-in to consultation, order fulfillment, and checkout. Compliance with applicable state and company regulations is paramount. Sunnyside emphasizes employee experience, offering training, development, diversity, and authenticity, leading to personal and professional growth. As a Wellness Advisor, employees gain fundamental cannabis product knowledge, industry compliance standards, training for diverse customer interactions, a unique consultative sales experience, and dynamic experience combining problem-solving, inventory management, teamwork, technical skills, and customer service. Dispensaries are typically open 7 days a week, requiring flexibility for opening/closing shifts, weekends, and holidays. Part-time schedules are 15-25 hours a week, typically based around peak hours.
