About The Position

Shoeteria is expanding and is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate for its La Puente, CA location, with compensation ranging from $16.90 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. Shoeteria is a brand under Work World, which is the largest specialty retailer of workwear and work boots in the Western U.S., operating over 30 stores across California, Nevada, and Washington. The company offers products from leading vendors such as Carhartt, Wolverine, and Timberland Pro. Requirements

High School diploma or general degree (GED) - required
Willing to work nights and weekends
Excellent verbal communication
Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
Basic math skills
High attention to detail
Demonstrated sales skills and experience
Ability to maintain a professional appearance

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of retail customer service experience preferred
Bi-Lingual a plus

Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
Assist customers with request in store and over the phone
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner
Always maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
Complete customers transactions at the cash register including taking payments, and issuing receipts
Tag prices and merchandise
Contribute to team’s daily sales goal.
