Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of golf and golf operations is preferred.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in retail or hospitality.
• Knowledge of golf merchandise and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet every member and guest with energy, warmth, and professionalism.
• Assist with golfer check-in, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival experience.
• Anticipate questions and offer proactive support regarding tee times, merchandise suggestions, course details, and membership benefits.
• Create a welcoming retail environment by engaging with guests and helping them find what they need.
• Actively promote Arcis memberships by explaining benefits and encouraging participation.
• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, handling tee time requests and guest inquiries.
• Accurately manage the tee sheet to ensure smooth flow and efficient pairing of groups.
• Communicate regularly with Starters and Guest Services to maintain awareness of pace of play and player movement.
• Keep guests informed of daily course conditions, including cart path rules and maintenance updates.
• Use the POS system to check in golfers, collect fees, and complete merchandise sales.
• Promote and upsell merchandise through product knowledge.
• Maintain proper cash handling practices, including register setup and reconciliation.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking, and rotating merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional Golf Shop environment.
• Report maintenance issues or product shortages to management.
• Work closely with Guest Services, Player Assistants, and Management to ensure exceptional service.
• Support golf operations by assisting with Starter duties and managing first tee logistics.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional or Golf Operations Manager.
