About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate at Talbots is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting the brand's products. Requirements

• Comfortable climbing ladders, moving around regularly, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Able to bend, reach, stretch for product, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
• Open availability of 15 to 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional and meaningful customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Assist the management team in building store business.
• Support all service enhancers to build strong relationships, including active use of Concierge.
• Service multiple customers at a time, multi-task, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay aware of fashion trends and seek information about new arrivals, including product knowledge about fit, color, and fashion.
• Use product knowledge and fashion expertise to create outfits for customers and suggest items to match their needs.
• Maximize individual performance by participating in learning opportunities, accepting direction, coaching, and feedback.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key measurable areas including clientelling/outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
• Complete operational assignments such as filling orders, replenishment, and recovery.
