About The Position

The Retail Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting and interacting with all guests in a cheerful, positive, and upbeat manner. The incumbent must maintain a positive presentation of the store by proactively stocking shelves and keeping the store neat and clean.

Requirements

• Excel at customer service
• Must enjoy working directly with the general public
• Present a neat and positive image along with a professional appearance
• Is a tactical sales strategist
• Possess problem solving skills
• Possess computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Be innovative and easily adapt to change
• High school diploma OR GED equivalent
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted Virginia driver's license

Responsibilities

• Greeting, assisting, and selling to guests in a friendly manner
• Maintaining & updating store displays, windows, and merchandised areas
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all vendors and products
• Creating an inviting atmosphere by maintaining the image and cleanliness of the store
• Managing front-end sales using point-of-sale software
• Receiving, stocking and rotating store products
• Follow policies and procedures that help to prevent harm to associates, guests and members
