In this position, the Retail Sales Associate will maintain high customer service levels in accordance with Total Service standards, embracing the Spotlight on Service. This includes acknowledging and greeting guests with a smile, being knowledgeable about the Total Rewards program and hotel amenities, and assisting guests in finding requested products, even if it requires contacting other stores. Teamwork is essential, as associates will communicate daily activities to the next shift and work collaboratively with fellow associates to create a strong team environment. Sales techniques are a critical aspect of this role, as the Retail Sales Associate will promote merchandise and upsell products. A thorough understanding of the product assortment across all retail stores is necessary to facilitate customer decision-making. The associate will also be responsible for register operations, ensuring all payment transactions are handled accurately and that necessary supplies are stocked for the next shift. Stock management duties include receiving, unpacking, folding, and organizing daily merchandise deliveries, as well as completing stock counts as requested. The Retail Sales Associate will work with supervisors to display inventory according to planograms and maintain visual merchandising standards. Participation in store cleanliness and housekeeping is also required, ensuring that all areas, including the cash wrap, are neat and organized. The role may involve assisting with inventory twice a year and attending mandatory meetings and training sessions.
