About The Position
Michelson's Shoes is seeking a full-time Sales Associate who is passionate about retail and values a stable work schedule. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a family-owned shoe store that prides itself on providing a wide range of footwear and accessories for all family members. Our store is known for its commitment to properly fitting children's and adult footwear, ensuring comfort across all seasons. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering a customer-centered shopping experience, helping customers find the right products to meet their needs. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for customers, greeting them promptly and engaging them in conversation to understand their needs. You will measure customers' feet to determine the correct shoe size and recommend merchandise based on your product knowledge. Building long-term relationships with customers is essential, and you will achieve this by exceeding their expectations and providing assistance with a positive attitude. Additionally, you will support your fellow team members with stock work, maintaining merchandise displays, and ensuring the store appearance is always inviting. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and possess strong communication skills. You will work a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week, with shifts from opening to closing, including Saturdays, while enjoying the benefit of no night shifts and no Sunday work.
