This exciting opportunity is based in our BRAND NEW Boonville Retail Store, so we’re seeking someone who either resides in or is willing to relocate to the heart of Central Missouri. Why Spirit? Competitive Compensation-- Starting hourly ranges from $20.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on experience $350 Fireworks Credit 50% off in our Retail Store and Seasonal Tent $150 Spirit Clothing Allowance What We Are Looking For A Retail Sales Assistant Manager who can support the Retail Sales Manager in overseeing the Spirit of ‘76 Boonville retail location, assisting with daily store operations, staff supervision, inventory processes, and key sales support activities while delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with brand standards. This role helps maintain operational excellence, ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, and provide leadership support to the retail team to ensure efficient and consistent store performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or a customer-facing role required
- A reliable source of transportation
- Must be able to carry, pull, and/or lift up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to crouch, grasp, pull, kneel, stoop, and walk to perform certain job functions
- Must be able to stand for up to 8+ hours
- The incumbent will be exposed to hazardous fireworks materials
- May require overtime and weekend work during peak periods
Nice To Haves
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Background in specialty, seasonal, or high-volume retail preferred
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to support team performance and contribute to a positive store culture
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated reliability in executing day-to-day responsibilities
