Retail Sales Agent (Part-Time)

We are seeking a Retail Shop Agent to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Palm Beach team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. The Retail Agent will assist all guests with sundries, clothing, gift needs and requests within our Gift Shop, while maintaining the company standards and generating revenue. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining accurate record of all items/inventory to ensure that all merchandise is accounted for. This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. We have a part-time position available.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly in English with guests, management and co-workers.
- Good mathematical skills
- Legible handwriting.
- Ability to understand and respond to guests' service needs with sense of urgency
- Ability to prioritize, organize and follow through.
- Ability to work in a small area with limited movement.
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments as part of a team.
- Ability to focus on details and resolve numerical problems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- A desire to be part of a team that genuinely cares about each other and our guests
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate (desired)
- Previous retail experience with luxury brand (desired)
- Previous experience in hospitality industry, ideally in a resort/hotel setting (desired)
