About The Position

Schraad Sales & Marketing Food Brokerage is seeking a full-time, in-store Sales Representative/Merchandiser focused at HEB. The role involves building relationships and rapport with department decision-makers in stores, influencing stores to order additional product, and displaying client products during key promotional events. This position also includes general product merchandising and addressing ad-hoc opportunities during store calls. Experience working at or with HEB stores is preferred. The individual will be responsible for a territory in and around the Dallas Metroplex.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
High School Diploma or GED required
Must possess strong interpersonal, decision making and leadership skills
Strong demonstration of organization skills, being extremely detail oriented, commitment to maintaining quality standards per company policy and high attention to customer service
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with Schraad staff and store personnel
Proficient with using Technology (Computers, Smart Phone, Tablets)
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
Must have access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and provide valid proof of insurance that meets company requirements
Must have access to reliable high-speed internet

Responsibilities

Build relationships in-store with key decision makers across all departments.
Execute pre-planned and ad-hoc retail initiatives to maintain shelf integrity and support promotions.
Use a company provided tablet to: Accurately report all work completed/store level actions, observations, photos, and issues
Use a company provided tablet to: Schedule work assignments
Use a company provided tablet to: Receive work documentation and information
Use a company provided tablet to: Record work start and completion times
Maintain coverage every reporting cycle of assigned retail territory according to customer frequency plans.
Attend resets and implement retail schematics as directed by the customer to meet the shelving plan, as required.
Participate in team-scheduled tasks such as retail sales meetings and food shows, as required.
Travel may be required outside the local area and include overnight stays on occasion for meetings and other needs.
