Rental/retail hybrids will be asked to perform two or more main duties within their assigned shop including: cashiering, bike teaching, demo and retail sales. Resume required.

Requirements

Prior retail experience required
Cash handling experience preferred
Good communication skills required
Must maintain neatly, groomed appearance, and abide by the company’s uniform policy
Basic computer knowledge and experience, helpful
Must be guest service oriented, detail oriented, able to multi-task, and self-motivated
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp Service Excellence standards
Must be minimum 18 years of age
Must lift approximately 20-30 lbs. on a frequent basis
Must communicate clearly in English both written and spoken
Must work in restricted workspaces
Stand for long periods of time with frequent bending or kneeling

Responsibilities

Responsible for covering at least two of the four job classifications for the rental and retail department including cashiering, bike-tech, fitting and sales, and/or retail sales of soft goods
The shops can be fast paced; candidate must switch roles often within a single shift
Specific product training will be provided, candidate will be required to consistently retain and relay product information to customer, including safety information pertaining to rental equipment
Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
Other duties as assigned
