As our Rental Associate, you will serve as the face of Guitar Center in the store, greeting customers, qualifying their needs, matching their need to the right product, and pitching and overcoming objections to close the sale.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail operations and/or sales or previous experience within a rental business
Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
Strong organization skills and high attention to detail
Must be able pull and lift gear that weights up to 40 lbs
Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

Intermediate knowledge of Musical Instruments sold within Guitar Center (Guitars, Drums, Tech, etc.)
Previous experience with Livesound & Backline

Responsibilities

Directly responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the rentals department
Clienteling/build relationships with customers to fulfill future service needs and create repeat customers
Contacting local vendors and companies via phone and email to drive business needs
Reach sales targets on services
Demonstrate product and service knowledge to customers
Working cross functionally with sales associates to support customers and guide them through the sales process as needed
