This role involves collaborating within the branch and across various channels with BMO partners to achieve business objectives and enhance the customer experience. Key responsibilities include proactively engaging with existing customers and prospects, conducting needs-based assessments to identify immediate and future opportunities, and recommending tailored solutions for everyday banking, retail investments, lending, home financing, and small business solutions. The banker also guides clients on digital and self-serve options, supports customer transactions, and actively works to grow BMO's business by generating appointments and building community relationships. The position requires addressing issues from consumer credit audits, applying risk management frameworks to protect bank assets, and making credit recommendations in compliance with policies. The banker acts as a collaborative team member, understands customer banking and credit card needs, integrates marketing promotions, and strives to personalize each customer's experience. The role involves maintaining current knowledge of the financial marketplace, legal/regulatory environment, and ethical requirements, as well as identifying and reporting suspicious activity. The work schedule may vary, and the role involves completing complex tasks and analyzing issues.
