About The Position

As a Receiving Colleague, also known as a Back of House colleague, you will play an essential role in supporting store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. This includes receiving and organizing merchandise, picking, packing, retrieving orders from back-of-house storage, and delivering them curbside to the customer. You will also monitor alerts to ensure Ready on Time completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders, helping to keep the stockroom and sales floor running efficiently. The role involves significant customer interaction, such as greeting shoppers warmly, resolving issues, and delivering orders with care. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to operational excellence will directly impact customer satisfaction and overall store performance. This position emphasizes that the customer is at the heart of all activities, and is ideal for individuals passionate about selling, achieving goals, teamwork, and creating amazing experiences through genuine hospitality.

Requirements

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work on your own but also great with team dynamics.
Ability to talk, lift, constantly move, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours.
Ability to lift at least 30lbs.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders, reaching, including above eye level.
Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions.

Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, restocking merchandise, and supporting any needed merchandise moves.
Wrap up the day by organizing the stockroom, completing orders, and setting the team up for the next day’s success.
Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration.
