About The Position

As a Receiving Colleague at Macy's, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of merchandise into the store. This position involves receiving, processing, and organizing products to ensure they are available for sale in a timely manner. You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to stockroom maintenance and customer service efforts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
• Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks and unpack vendor boxes.
• Sort and organize merchandise based on type, size, or category.
• Complete all processing and receiving activities in accordance with productivity standards and compliance procedures.
• Transfer merchandise from the receiving area to the stockroom or sales floor.
• Select merchandise from the selling floor and apply packing policies to ensure good condition for customer packages.
• Retrieve orders from back-of-house storage and deliver them curbside to customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and maintain a positive work environment.
