About The Position

The Full Time Retail Production Associate I at Goodwill of Colorado is responsible for processing and sorting donated items in a retail production environment. This role involves determining which items will be sold on the sales floor, ensuring the area is well-stocked and organized, and providing excellent customer service. The Associate will work with various types of merchandise and may also assist in donations and e-commerce product processing as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to make decisions.
• Ability to use basic technologies and follow company standards.
• Ability to assess quality and value of products and pricing.
• Effective communication skills with customers and staff.
• Ability to use a dolly and pallet jack as required.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in e-commerce product processing.
• Knowledge of retail pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated items by type, season, color, and quality.
• Hang, size, price, tag, and prepare items for sale.
• Inspect and test items to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Make pricing decisions based on Goodwill standards and research item values as necessary.
• Ensure production and sales floor areas are organized, stocked, and clean.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer product questions.
• Rotate or pull old or unsold products from the sales floor.
• Process E-Commerce products as assigned.
• Follow retail center policies and safety procedures.
• Cross-train in other departments as required.
