About The Position
As a Retail Product Specialist at Skechers, you will be responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers. Your role will involve elevating the customer experience and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards, ensuring that the store operates smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you may be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support the needs of the business, allowing for a dynamic and versatile work environment. Your primary focus will be to drive sales through excellent customer service. You will act as a product expert and serve as a brand ambassador for all things Skechers, using your knowledge to guide customers to the right product selection. It will be essential to continuously ensure that floor inventory is well maintained, which includes merchandising, stocking, and cleaning to create a premier shopping experience for the customer. You will efficiently process customer transactions, apply discounts, and handle returns professionally, encouraging exchanges or alternatives where possible to maintain strong customer relationships. Staying up to date on the latest Skechers product knowledge will be crucial in this role, as it will enable you to provide informed recommendations and enhance the overall shopping experience for customers. Your ability to work collaboratively with your team and treat every coworker with respect and positivity will contribute to a positive work environment and successful store operations.
