About The Position
Hastings Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician / Pharmacy Tech (Entry-Level or Licensed) to join our retail pharmacy team. No license required—we provide support for candidates eligible for a Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Licensed technicians are encouraged to apply! Schedule Full-time Monday–Friday 8am–6pm Saturday 9am–1pm
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Eligible for Michigan Pharmacy Technician Training Program
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills, data entry, and math skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Technician license (preferred, not required)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations preferred
Responsibilities
- Prescription filling, data entry, and medication preparation
- Medication packaging, labeling, and inventory support
- Verify NDCs, expiration dates, and prescription accuracy
- Support pharmacy workflow, customer service, and daily operations
