BJC/Saint Luke’s Health is currently seeking a Retail Pharmacy Technician (PRN) to join our outpatient pharmacy team. Requirements

• Must hold a current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) prior to the hire date.
• 1 year Certified Pharmacy Technician - Various, Pharmacy Technician - Various
• Detail-oriented
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks
• Capable of working autonomously
• Has a passion for healthcare and high-quality patient interaction.
• Communicates effectively across various platforms.
• Is physically capable of standing for the majority of a shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform computer order entry, medication packaging, labeling, and compounding.
• Manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and assist with staff training.
• Resolve billing and insurance issues, handle cashiering, and manage basic accounting tasks.
• Ensure all medications are verified by a pharmacist for accuracy per State Board and Federal regulations before dispensing.
