About The Position

This requisition if for a Float Pharmacy Technician who would be available and responsible to work at any and all of the CHI Health Retail Pharmacy locations (CUMC Bergan, Bellevue, Midlands, Florence, Immanuel, IMC FHC, LaVista, 132nd and Center, Valley View, Lakeside, West Broadway, 161st and Maple, Yankee Hill in Lincoln, Elkhorn and 42nd and L). As a Retail Pharmacy Technician, you will be a central figure in our pharmacy, providing essential support to pharmacists in dispensing medications, assisting patients, and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will play a vital role in upholding medication safety, patient satisfaction, and efficient workflow. Every day, you will expertly process prescriptions, meticulously enter patient information, accurately count and label medications, and manage inventory, ensuring adherence to strict regulations and policies. You will also assist patients, answer questions within your scope, manage prescriber communication, and maintain a clean environment, providing compassionate and efficient service. To be successful in this role, you will combine current Pharmacy Technician certification, a strong understanding of pharmaceutical terminology, and exceptional attention to detail. You will demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, a proactive approach, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment dedicated to delivering safe, patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Registered/licensed Pharmacy Tech in the State of NE (https://dhhs.ne.gov/licensure/pages/pharmacy-technician.aspx) required prior to start date.
  • Active CPT-EXCPT or CPT-PTCB or CPHT certification in good standing is required after one year from the registration/licensure date.
