About The Position

Are you an experienced licensed pharmacy technician looking for a new adventure? BJC has an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to float at various locations in MO and IL. Perfect for those who are outgoing, great with time-management and enjoy a variety! MO and IL License Required. Monday-Friday days. $2,000 sign on bonus. $2/hr Differential for productive hours after training is complete. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Completes clerical duties, to include sending and receiving tubes & faxes, filing prescriptions, processing mail & courier prescriptions.
  • Enters customer, insurance and prescription information and completes prescription transfers.
  • Sells prescriptions (POS system), handles cash, manages payment exceptions and reconciles cash.
  • Orders and manages inventory (drug and non-drug); stocks shelves; rotates, organizes, and removes expired product; performs cycle counts and returns to stock.
  • Completes data entry, contact manager, product dispensing (manual and automated via Parata and RxSafe), and basic compounding.
