About The Position

CompleteRx is hiring a Retail Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Champion Pharmacy, a retail pharmacy located inside CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo, NM. Pharmacists in retail with management - We have an opportunity to work at a retail pharmacy in a hospital setting. Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher.
• Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of New Mexico.
• One to three (1-3) years of experience as a registered pharmacist.
• One to two (1-2) years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pharmacy's operations, ensure compliance with regulations and lead a team while delivering patient care.
• Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately.
• Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol.
• Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles.
• Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
• Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nursing.
