About The Position

This position will work at Eastland Pharmacy in Bloomington. Hiring a pharmacist to work PRN - will assist in covering when pharmacist staff are out on leave, out sick, paid time off, and when there is a need for coverage. Pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm. The Retail Pharmacist reviews prescriptions, obtains clarifications and analyzes drug therapy. Responsible for compounding and dispensing medications according to established policies and procedures of the professional of pharmacy. Supervises pharmacy technicians in the preparation of medication.

Requirements

• Current Illinois State Pharmacist License.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Science Pharmacy or PharmD.
• 3 years of experience in Retail Pharmacy.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and various other medical personnel.
• Analytical skills to determine drug appropriateness and evaluate drug interactions.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
