Requirements

  • Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Active Pharmacist License in good standing in the state of Nebraska
  • BLS-CPR

Nice To Haves

  • Retail pharmacy experience preferred
  • One year of work experience in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense prescription and OTC medications in compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulations
  • Provide patient counseling and drug education to patients and healthcare providers
  • Perform thorough drug utilization reviews to ensure safety and optimal therapy outcomes
  • Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and ancillary staff workflow
  • Collaborate with providers and insurance companies to resolve prescription and coverage issues
  • Support inventory management, quality initiatives, and operational efficiency
  • Administer immunizations and participate in MTM, collaborative practice agreements, and bedside delivery programs
