Summary : The Retail Pharmacist Team Leader is responsible for all aspects of operations, regulatory compliance, clinical practice, medication safety, functional on-site people management, and practice advancement for their supervising pharmacy and associated remote dispensing sites. Is an authority on clinical and operations for supervising site and remote dispensing sites, promotes a culture congruent with ThedaCare’s mission, vision, values and Pharmacy’s team commitments. Acts as an authority and advocate of change management redefining the practice of retail pharmacy by establishing high quality clinical care into pharmacy practice, redefining the patient experience to be fulfilling, predictable, and highly reliable and establishing pharmacy as an integral provider on the patient care team. Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
  • State of Wisconsin Pharmacist Licensure
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Certified Immunizer
  • Minimum five years of progressive responsibility in healthcare setting
  • Minimum five years of leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily operations of the pharmacy and its associated remote dispensing sites including but not limited to clinical, dispensing, distributing, inventory management, and financial domains.
  • Responsible for operationalizing regulatory compliance congruent with applicable federal and state regulations, external accrediting authorities, and expert governing bodies within pharmacy and associated remote dispensing sites.
  • Responsible for operationalizing all ThedaCare policies and procedures within pharmacy and associated remote dispensing sites.
  • Champions all clinical and operational initiatives, partnering with key service line stakeholders driving strategic growth and development, program integrity, financial viability, and optimal patient outcomes.
  • On-site people management transcending the entire human resources life cycle for employees within pharmacy.
  • Contributing member of the interdisciplinary patient care team, driving safe and effective patient outcomes.
  • Functions as a fully licensed and competent pharmacist along the entire spectrum of services offered through pharmacy and associated remote dispensing sites.
  • Maintains operational knowledge of 340B program as it relates to pharmacy and its associated remote dispensing sites, ensuring compliance and program intent in collaboration with key stakeholders.
