The Retail Party and Craft Team Member is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating events, including kids' birthday parties and craft classes, within a Michaels store. This role requires delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience. The team member will engage with clients of all ages, demonstrate craft projects, perform face painting, and manage party add-ons. Administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and paperwork are also part of the role, along with adjusting plans based on client feedback and ensuring satisfaction. Operational duties include truck unload, merchandise stocking, maintaining store recovery standards, assisting with omnichannel processes (BOPIS and SFS), and supporting shrink and safety programs. The position also involves adhering to company policies, promoting a positive image, and participating in daily store cleanliness activities. Cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production is also expected.
