About The Position

The Retail Parts Pro is a professional-level sales position focused on supporting the DIY automotive business. This role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and advanced troubleshooting skills to assist customers effectively. The position involves managing DIY services, achieving sales goals, and maintaining high standards of customer service and store appearance.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Spanish a plus)
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and parts catalogs
• Basic math skills for accurate calculations
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• 35 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past experience in customer transactions
• Valid driver's license
• ASE certification preferred, but not required

Nice To Haves

• ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent
• Experience with POS and parts lookup systems
• Advanced solution, project, and product quality recommendation ability
• Advanced selling skills for DIY

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Perform key holder responsibilities including task assignment and completion, safety, and open/close duties
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, and back stock
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.

Benefits

• Compensation range of $16.45 to $18.10 per hour
