About The Position

The Retail Team Lead at Office Depot Inc. is a part-time role focused on providing comprehensive solutions to customers through products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Sales and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use technology for information access.
  • Advanced selling skills and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and assist others professionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high quality production in the Print Services area.

Nice To Haves

  • Skilled in Customer Service and Print Services experience would be desired.
  • Desire to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Support efficient operation in the Print function while driving overall store sales.
  • Assist associates on all equipment within the Print Services area to maintain efficient production and ensure client orders are completed correctly and on-time.
  • Process merchandise accurately and efficiently, adhering to established procedures and visual merchandising standards.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
  • Drive positive client satisfaction levels through coaching and training associates.
  • Ensure safety and security of the building and associates during the absence of the management team.
  • Perform opening or closing responsibilities, including activating/deactivating the store's alarm system.
