About The Position

As a Retail Overnight Stocker at Michaels, you will deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping our store, and help them find what they're looking for. You will ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience while completing truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store. This includes maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. You will also help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions, execute cash handling to standards, and engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards. Additionally, you will assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). Your responsibilities will also include participating in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, and supporting shrink and safety programs. You will adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements, and interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner.

Requirements

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
